What is Age Regression?
Age Regression is defined as; "[an event in which] someone reverts to a younger state of mind. This retreat may be only a few years younger than the person’s physical age. It could also be much younger, into early childhood or even infancy.
Age regression is sometimes used in psychology and hypnotherapy. It can also be used as a self-help tool, or something someone does to reduce stress."
Is Age Regression sexual?
"Age regression is never considered sexual. It’s a type of defense mechanism that allows you to mentally escape to a different time in your life.
This is different from pretending to be younger. Indeed, some individuals portray themselves many years younger than they are as part of a hobby, sexual fetish, or kink.
For example, some members of fandom communities (DDLG, CGL, ABDL) may use costumes and portrayals to “pretend” to be younger and more naïve. This is not real age regression."
Note* CG/L and CGLRE are entirely different things. CG/L is a branch of kink, meanwhile CGLRE is used to refer to the caretakers of sfw regressors. These caretakers function similarly to those of the elderly- There is NO power exchange in CGLRE, as there is in CG/L.
